Your equipment catalog, borrow history, and admin accounts are saved in this browser — not inside the file. If you move or re-host the file, it opens empty. Download a backup here, then import it on the other device to carry everything over.
Importing replaces the current catalog, history, and accounts with the backup's contents.
When a student submits a borrow request, the system can email it to the teacher. A file opened on its own can't send mail by itself — choose how it should send below.
Create a free account at emailjs.com, add an email service and a template, then paste the three IDs here. In your template use the variables to_email, subject and message. Needs an internet connection to send.
Connect a free Supabase database so every device shares the same live data — equipment, requests, history, accounts, and notification settings. Without this, each device keeps its own separate copy.
One-time setup (about 5 minutes): 1) Create a free project at supabase.com. 2) Open the SQL Editor and run the table script — tap Copy table script below. 3) In Project Settings → API, copy the Project URL and the anon public key and paste them here. 4) Save, then do the same on every device (or just share the hosted link after saving — settings are included in Backup).
Student access
Sign in with your teacher account to review requests and manage equipment.
Check the gear back in and leave a remark on its condition (optional).
If a barcode is damaged or won't scan, a teacher can approve this item by entering their password.
